Honig’s came to us needing help with a new website and a complete overhaul of their eCommerce business. This not only included a new website platform, but a new inventory management system, a new email system, a new CRM, updated shipping methods, and the way in which they handled shipping to their current customers, account members, dealers, and foreign countries. We recommended Shopify and our signature Shopify Design & Build Service, Ship Station, Finale, Klaviyo, and too many other apps to mention here. Read on to learn how we helped bring Honig’s, a 35-year-old company in the sports apparel industry, into the 21st century.
Honig’s came to us with a few things already working for them. They had a solid brand, an award-winning reputation, and a global customer base that knew them by name (they are industry leaders in their category no doubt). When Honig’s came to us, they were in search of a new eCommerce platform, ordering framework, inventory management system, and something they had full control over. At the time of our first interaction, they were still on Magento. The problem was, no one could order anything Their checkout was always broken, and orders had to be done via phone call to Honig’s HQ. As you might have guessed, it was a pain for their customers and the staff. So, we got to work and assisted them with their operational processes, including an ordering system, shipping & delivery systems, email marketing system, heavy customizations of products, and a new website.
We used Shopify to improve their customer’s UI/UX, ShipStation for processing and delivery, Finale for inventory management, Klaviyo for an updated email marketing and list-building system, built out custom contact forms, set up automation to segment lists for marketing campaigns, customized the shopfront in many different areas, built out systems to better recapture cart abandonment, and took them from the literal dark ages to the 21st century.
Within their first 30 days of launching their new website, Honig’s doubled their sales making just over $93,000k. They are now seeing a steady increase in monthly AOV and customer retention month over month.
Not only did Honig’s manage to turn around the entire way of doing business, but they also did it on a budget and are now able to see a steady increase in sales and profits. With our guidance and expertise, we were able to turn things around for Honig’s so they can continue to be the leaders in their industry for the next 35 years and more!
Posterity Ciderworks came to us needing help with a website and assistance launching their new small-batch cidery business. When they first contacted us, they had an idea and a vision, but nothing concrete. Here’s how we helped launch their business and generate nearly $10k in their first 30 days of opening.
Posterity Ciderworks started out like most people do when launching a business. They came to us in hopes to make their dream of owning a local, organic, family-run cidery a reality. Since we were starting from scratch, we needed to build out a number of things that would assist them with their operational processes, including an ordering system, shipping & delivery systems, email marketing system, a pre-launch strategy, and a website. During the build-out of this business, the owners decided to open a local tasting room and bought property to start bottling and sharing their ciders locally. Not only did they have an online storefront we were building out, we now had to set up a system to drive local foot traffic to their in-person location, attracting both locals and vacationers in the area.
We used Shopify to build out their ordering, processing, delivery, and inventory tracking system. For the online ordering system, we used VinoShipper, which helped us stay in compliance when it came to shipping alcohol domestically around the US. For email, we integrated Klaviyo, built out a custom contact form, and set up automations in the backend to capture things like browse abandonment, abandon cart, and built out a solid welcome sequence to assist new buyers to purchase. These systems were integral to our client’s successful launch.
Within the first 30 days of launching their new website and tasting room, Posterity Ciderworks made over $8K in sales and is enjoying a sustainable and successful business.
When Shop MIVA first approached us they were unable to gain traction and positive returns from their existing website and social traffic. With an environmentally conscious brand and product line for the conscientious female consumer, we turned things around to help them scale up. Here’s how.
MIVA had been depending on local foot traffic, driving sales mostly through email marketing and organic leads, not experiencing a positive return or business growth. Another large part of the issue was that MIVA could not utilize the sale channels they had in place due to being denied access. MIVA had applied for Instagram product tagging 10 months prior to working with us and was denied, unable to access the main traffic resource of the business, and use it as a viable sales channel. The shop owner reached out to us to discuss our involvement in turning their Facebook media buying and e-commerce marketing sales activities around.
As a supplier of sustainable fashion and jewelry to the US market, we first ran a full audit on the brand to assess the health of its online assets. Through this process, we were able to instantly identify areas for improvement, and where to begin our efforts to build traffic resources, and that would also improve paid ad campaigns moving forward. We were able to drive more foot traffic, sell more products, and attract new buyers by expanding the brand digitally, using the client’s email list and position her paid campaigns to her target audience to enable better conversions.
2 months into working with them, we managed to scale revenues to over $15K per month resulting in just shy of $60k in total sales during our time together.
MIVA is set for future sales and marketing success. We helped the owner set up her Shopify storefront to generate more online sales, established solid resource channels to drive consistent sales traffic, and set her up with a new email marketing system and process. Today, they are consistently making sales across the US and are looking to roll out consistent paid ad campaigns to scale the shop.
